【報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介】Dr.U. Anura Kumara is the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commercein the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. He has more than 20 yearsof service as an academic in the Sri Lankan university system.  He served as the Head of the Department ofBusiness Economics in the same university from 2010 to 2014. He has also heldmany key positions in the administrative structure of the University andUniversity system in Sri Lanka thus showing his diverse capabilities. Some ofthe prominent posts among them are Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University ofSri Jayewardenepura, the Director of the Township Development Program at theUniversity of Sri Jayewardenepura (which he holds even at present), and VicePresident of the Federation of the University Teachers’ Association in SriLanka.

Dr.U. Anura Kumara earned his Ph.D in Computer Simulation from Sheffield HallamUniversity in the United Kingdom and he is specialized in diverse fields suchas Economics, Statistics and Operational Research. Dr. Anura Kumara’s researchinterests are in the field of Health Economics, Regional Development, BusinessProcess Management and Computer Simulation.
